Welcome to Ms. Shannon's Colorful Classroom!!

     For my chose observations, I decied to stick with early childhood educations as that is my future plan. I observed Ms. Hay's second grade class at Hilliard Crossing Elementary. Her class was full of energetic, positive, fun loving students that were eager to learn. The minute I walked in I was blown away by the colorful and positive environment that she had created in her room. No matter where I turned I could find a helpful chart filled with bright colors and drawings. I observed from February 15th-March 17th. It was a packed fun filled 5 weeks of learning about worms and they habitats. Along with more ST Math and building confident writing/ sentence structure. We even experienced sharing time, and building our time telling skills. At the end of it all I was sad to say goodbye but once again incredibly grateful for another opportunity to learn more about early education. I hope to be able to experience 1st grade someday as I move around the field!
