Welcome to Ms. Shannon's Colorful Classroom!!

To wrap up my first year in Academy EDU, our last observations were in Special Needs Education. As a student who had previous experience with special ed in both middle school and high school I choose to go down the path of Elementary once again. I started my observations in Hoffman Trails Elementary for 5 weeks. Working with in a classroom with 6 kids ranging from 1st-5th grade. Each week was different, from attending their special periods including art, gym and music. To working on self reading time and playing with shapes. Along with learning about the weekly report with the calendar, time, and weather. Every day I had the pleasure of learning with these kiddos and seeing them grow. That experience truly touched my heart and help guide me to wanting to teach in a inclusive enviroment!
